The Tulip. Every one has their own favorite flowers. I have a few but my most favorite is the tulip. Strong, straight and
pretty tulip. As it ages it remains beautiful with a slight bend in it,
still strong and beautiful.
When I was little my aunt and uncle
lived down the street from us. Every morning I would go to play with my
cousins. My uncle was always planting, clipping, clearing things around
the yard and it always looked like it was professionally cared for. One
spring he had planted probably 100 tulips in the front garden. Well I
gotta tell you they sure were real pretty. Pink, purple bright yellow,
orange. I was only 7 years old and boy when I tell you I thought my mom
was the best! Before you know it I had every single one of those tulips
in my arms so happy running home to bring to mom!! Wow I didn’t get the
response I thought I would!!
My uncle was so mad and mom well I saw her smiling but I still got grounded and extra chores.
Even
after that ordeal, every tulip I see reminds me of that look on moms
face and they are still my favorite, even more so as time goes on.
