Flower For Funeral

I lost my oldest friend in April of this year. For his funeral and memorial, I was looking for a special flower for funeral. A Flower for funeral that would reflect the days of our childhood spent together. All the funeral flowers and funeral arrangements I saw were pretty, but not quite what I wanted.For his funeral, I wanted bright colors, yellows, pinks purples to remind me of our summer days when school was out.

For his memorial service, I wanted something a little more grown up. I made up my own design and called it “sympathy” in my heart. It had deep red and vibrant, bright whites with some pink undertones. The hardest thing you will ever to do is plan a funeral, memorial or burial for a loved one.The most important thing in doing this, is being able to capture the best memories of that persons life in color. When you really think about it , mother nature is around all of us through our whole life. What better palette can you have then the colors of flower’s to reflect on.
